Summary:
The MetaICE PE-DS89C450 emulator
continues MetaLink's long tradition of affordable, highly functional,
palm sized emulators with its combination of size, features and price.
With the emulation base being only 4.4" (11,2cm) x 3.25"
(8,26cm), the emulator provides many outstanding features found on much
larger and more expensive emulators, including the following key
real time features (which are available on most MetaICE PE emulators):
- Display of key Special Function
Registers (SFRs) in trace memory: SP, IE, DPTR
- Display of SFR write data in the trace
memory
The MetaICE PE comes with 128Kb code and 64Kb
external data memory standard. The emulator includes a large trace
buffer that can capture up to 64K cycles of bus activity.
The MetaICE PE emulator system
includes everything that is needed to start emulating right out of the
box. This includes a dedicated MetaICE
PE emulator base with a mating
adapter that plugs directly into the target application's footprint,
power supply, RS-232 cable (or optional USB/Serial adapter), User
interface with integrated HLL/Source Level debugger, User's Manual (PDF)
on CD and startup documentation.
The MetaICE PE Windows-based user
interface delivers the highest development productivity. The
context-sensitive hypertext and hyperlinked help system makes this
interface easy to learn and easy to use.
The MetaICE PE includes a full
symbolic and source level debugger for Assemblers and Compilers. The
emulator supports the most popular 8051 Assemblers and Compilers.
